Welcome to the Privacy Policy for Vizo Battery.

Your privacy is important to us. Vizo Battery is designed to provide detailed information about your Android device's battery while keeping battery-related and app-usage data primarily on your device.

This Privacy Policy explains what information Vizo Battery accesses, what information may be processed by third-party services, why it is used, and how it is protected.

We do not sell your personal data and we do not use your information for advertising.

Information Vizo Battery Accesses

To provide battery monitoring, statistics, history, notifications, Battery Detective, Battery Care, and Home Screen widgets, Vizo Battery may access or process information such as:

Battery level and charging status.
Battery voltage, temperature, and other battery information provided by Android.
Battery usage and charging history generated by Vizo Battery.
Estimated battery capacity and health information.
Device state information required to calculate battery statistics and estimates.
Application usage statistics, only when you explicitly grant Android's optional Usage Access permission.
Device configuration information required for Home Screen widgets.
Application settings and preferences.
Information required to manage battery-related notifications and alerts.

Battery measurements and detailed battery history are processed locally on your device.

If Usage Access is enabled, information about application usage is used locally to provide features such as usage statistics and Battery Detective correlations.

Vizo Battery does not send the names or package identifiers of applications detected through Usage Access to Firebase Analytics.

Information We Do Not Request

Vizo Battery does not require you to create an account.

The app does not request or intentionally collect information such as:

Your name.
Email address.
Phone number.
Contacts.
Messages.
Photos or personal media files.
Precise GPS location.
Login credentials.

No account is required to use Vizo Battery or purchase Vizo Battery Pro.

Permissions and System Access

Some Vizo Battery features require Android permissions or special system access.

Depending on your Android version, device, and the features you choose to use, Vizo Battery may request:

Usage Access
Used to generate application usage statistics and to correlate app activity with battery behavior. This access is optional and can be revoked at any time through Android settings.

Notification permission
On Android 13 and later, notification permission may be requested in order to display battery alerts and other battery-related notifications if you enable those features.

Vizo Battery also uses standard Android capabilities required for battery monitoring, background processing, Home Screen widgets, restoring monitoring after a device restart, checking connectivity where necessary, and Google Play in-app purchases.

Permissions and system access are used only for the corresponding application functionality.

Local Data Storage

Battery-related information generated by Vizo Battery is primarily stored locally on your device.

This includes information such as:

Battery measurements.
Battery history.
Charging history.
Battery statistics and charts.
Battery Detective data and analysis.
Battery Care information.
Application usage information obtained through Usage Access.
Widget configuration.
Application preferences and settings.

This information is not uploaded to Vizo Battery servers.

Vizo Battery does not operate a remote server for storing your battery history, Usage Access contents, Battery Detective results, or application preferences.

Limited technical and usage analytics information described below is transmitted to Google Analytics for Firebase.

The app includes functionality that allows you to permanently delete locally stored battery statistics when you choose.

Uninstalling the app will also normally remove locally stored Vizo Battery application data, subject to Android's operating system and backup behavior.

Analytics

Vizo Battery uses Google Analytics for Firebase, a service provided by Google, to understand general application usage and improve the app.

Analytics may process limited information such as:

App launches and sessions.
First app launch.
Screen views.
General feature usage.
App version.
Android version.
Device model and general device information.
Installation or app-instance identifiers.
General session information.
In-app purchase events.
Approximate geographic information derived by Google from a masked IP address.

Google Analytics for Firebase automatically generates an app-instance identifier for an installation of the application. Firebase Installations may also generate a Firebase Installation ID associated with an application installation. These identifiers are designed to identify app installations rather than your real-world identity.

Vizo Battery uses Analytics only to understand how the application is being used, identify useful features, measure general application activity, and improve the application.

Vizo Battery does not intentionally send the following information to Firebase Analytics:

Battery level measurements.
Battery voltage.
Battery temperature.
Battery charging history.
Detailed battery history.
Battery Detective observations or results.
Battery Care measurements.
Contents obtained through Android Usage Access.
Names or package identifiers of other installed or used applications.

Advertising

Vizo Battery does not display advertising.

Advertising ID collection for Google Analytics is disabled in Vizo Battery.

Analytics data is also not intentionally used by Vizo Battery for personalized advertising or remarketing.

Google provides configuration options allowing Android developers to disable Advertising ID collection, which Vizo Battery uses.

Approximate Location Information

Vizo Battery does not request Android's precise or approximate location permission for Analytics.

However, Google Analytics may derive coarse geographic information, such as a general region or country, from the device's masked IP address as part of its standard analytics processing.

This is different from accessing GPS coordinates or Android location services.

Google Play Billing

Vizo Battery uses Google Play Billing to offer and restore the optional Vizo Battery Pro purchase.

Google Play may process technical and transaction information required to complete, verify, and restore purchases.

Payment information such as your credit or debit card details is handled by Google Play and is not provided directly to Vizo Battery.

Vizo Battery does not independently store your payment card information.

Google's processing of purchase information is governed by Google's applicable terms and privacy policies.

Third-Party Services

Vizo Battery currently uses third-party Google services including:

Google Analytics for Firebase, for limited application usage analytics.
Firebase Installations, which supports Firebase services by providing per-installation identifiers.
Google Play Billing, for processing and restoring Vizo Battery Pro purchases.

These services may process technical information required to provide their functionality.

Firebase states that collected end-user information is encrypted in transit using HTTPS and that Firebase does not transfer this information to third parties except in circumstances such as service subprocessors or integrations configured by the developer.

Vizo Battery does not include advertising SDKs.

Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information.

We do not share your information with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

Limited technical and analytics information may be processed by Google as necessary to provide Google Analytics for Firebase, Firebase

Installations, and Google Play Billing.

Battery history, battery measurements, Usage Access contents, Battery Detective data, and information identifying other applications are not intentionally transmitted by Vizo Battery to Firebase Analytics.

Data Retention

Battery information stored locally by Vizo Battery remains on your device until it is deleted through the application, removed by Android, or deleted when the application is uninstalled, depending on Android's storage and backup behavior.

Analytics information processed through Google Analytics for Firebase is retained according to the retention settings configured for the associated Google Analytics property and Google's applicable policies.

Transaction information processed by Google Play may be retained by Google according to its own legal, accounting, security, and service requirements.

Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect information processed by Vizo Battery.

Detailed battery and application usage information is primarily kept locally on your device rather than stored on Vizo Battery servers.

Information transmitted to Firebase services is encrypted in transit. Firebase documents that its Android SDK data is transmitted using HTTPS, while Google Analytics states that collected SDK data is encrypted in transit using TLS.

However, no method of electronic storage, transmission, or processing can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Your Choices and Controls

You remain in control of optional permissions and system access granted to Vizo Battery.

You can:

Enable or disable Usage Access through Android system settings.
Enable or disable Vizo Battery notifications through Android settings.
Delete locally stored battery statistics using functionality provided by Vizo Battery.
Uninstall Vizo Battery to remove the application and its locally stored application data, subject to Android backup behavior.

Optional features that depend on permissions or system access may stop working if the corresponding permission or access is disabled.

Children's Privacy

Vizo Battery is not intended for children under the age of 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under the age of 13.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect:

Changes to Vizo Battery.
New or modified features.
Changes to third-party services.
Changes to privacy or security practices.
Applicable legal or regulatory requirements.
